The Ordinary’s Slowvember Deals Are Happening All Month Long

It’s officially November, the most anticipated shopping month of the year. While Black Friday and Cyber Monday are still a ways away, The Ordinary’s Slowvember Sale has already kicked off. For the fifth year in a row, the already-affordable skin-care brand is offering 23% off sitewide all month long — with the exception of Black Friday.

Deciem’s month-long promotion goes against the grain when it comes to typical Black Friday traditions and prompts shoppers to be more mindful of their shopping habits. That’s why on November 24 (Black Friday), all Deciem brands, including The Ordinary, will close their online and brick-and-mortar shops. Thankfully, you’ll still have 29 other days in November to enjoy 23% off every single thing the brand offers.

P.S. Sister brand NIOD is also joining the party with 23% off all products, plus 50% off Copper Amino Isolate Serum 3 1:1 and Copper Amino Isolate Lipid 1%.

If you feel motivated to shop, read up on some of the best The Ordinary Slowvember deals happening right now, including a bunch of Best of Beauty and Readers’ Choice Award winners. Keep in mind this sale only happens once a year so get those credit cards ready, people.

Glucoside Foaming Cleanser

Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum

There are so many cleansers to choose from, but the Glucoside Foaming Cleanser has a leg over the competition since it’s an Allure Best of Beauty 2023 winner. This moisture-replenishing formula earned praise from our editors for its makeup-melting abilities and non-stripping feel on skin.

As one can expect, the Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum has a powerhouse blend of skin-firming peptides, but that’s not the only group of ingredients this serum treats your skin to. Its indigo-hued formula is also spiked with complexion-boosting antioxidants, known for their ability to protect against environmental aggressors, replenish moisture, and even skin tone.

Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Solution

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

You’ve probably seen at least one major TikTok beauty enthusiast take a shelfie with the Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Solution. This intensive formula’s star ingredient, glycolic acid, mildly exfoliates the skin, diminishes dark spots, and regenerates collagen while amino acids, aloe vera, ginseng, and Tasmanian pepperberry reduce signs of irritation. It even doubles as a buildup-targeting scalp treatment — we love a versatile product.

P.S. Starting November 10, this product is being renamed Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Solution in an educational effort to clarify its purpose, so our copy reflects this change.

Say goodbye to dark spots when you start using the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% treatment. It’s loaded with, you guessed it, niacinamide to diminish hyperpigmentation and zinc to balance any signs of sebum overproduction. Oily skin types, this one is for you.

Salicylic Acid 2% Masque

Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

Speaking of oily skin types, meet the Salicylic Acid 2% Masque. Its main ingredient, salicylic acid — along with kaolin and charcoal — sloughs off dead, pore-clogging skin cells and speeds up the healing process of inflamed pimples.

The beloved Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is no stranger to skin-care cabinets, as it’s won both Best of Beauty and Readers’ Choice Awards. Hyaluronic acid can attract up to 1,000 times its weight in water, while vitamin B5 soothes skin and boosts hydration levels — so together, they absorb quickly and nourish dehydrated skin in an instant.

AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

Squalane Cleanser

If it’s one product from The Ordinary that you’ve definitely heard about (whether you’ve seen the viral TikTok videos or otherwise), it has to be the AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. Basically unmatched in terms of affordability and laced with a potent blend of glycolic, lactic, tartaric, citric, and salicylic acid (the lone beta hydroxy acid), this at-home peel is amazing for improving skin texture and reducing the appearance of blemishes. (Just take it easy when you’re first starting out and patch-test as needed.)

The Squalane Cleanser feels incredibly gentle on the skin while dissolving all evidence of makeup, sunscreen, and dirt. It also leaves skin feeling soft and never stripped, thanks to key moisturizing ingredients like squalane and glycerin. If you already love this cleanser and have been wishing for a bigger tube, you’re in luck: Starting November 10, The Ordinary is rolling out a supersized 240-milliliter tube.

Now that you have the rundown, we hope you found something that you love or that you may have just needed a restock on. Regardless, we promise you’re sure to find something across the Deciem brands that will make your skin (and wallets) very happy. Remember, the sale runs the entire month of November (or Slowvember) with the one exception of November 24. Happy shopping.
